Stargate: The Ark of the Truth - I saw it.

So I saw it. I thought overall it was a decent movie. There were some great parts and some horrible parts. The I.O.A. and replicators felt like they were added in last minutes of production. These subplots felt forced. They also broke up the flow of the movie. Another part that was obviously added for the non fans that irratated me was when Sam brought Mitchel some cookies, or what ever they were and kissed him... Vala's usual comedic act felt tired in Ark of the Truth. Just seemed as if she was overdoing it. Beau Bridges parts were a complete waste of time to me. They were just added to have his name on the movie.

On the other hand, the rest of the cast and their stories were great. Michael Shanks and Amanda Tapping delivered as always. Ben Browder did a great job, its just too bad he was stuck with the replicators and I.O.A. Christopher Judge's walk through the mountains was a bit long but if anyone could pull it off Teal'c could. Tim Guinee was great and im glad he finally switched sides. Finally Morena Baccarin was hardly in the movie lol I would have prefered a whole lot more of her instead of the replicators and I.O.A. I love her in Firefly and I loved her in this.

If you can deal with the fact that the producers were trying to open the Stargate franchise to new viewers. And you realize to do that they had to show stuff in the movie that the fans dont need to or want to see. Then you will love the movie. While I still think it's just decent I still loved it and hope to see alot more out of the Stargate Franchise.
