Stargate Atlantis the finale: WOW

Atlantis's finale "Last Man" blew me away. I loved the finale. When Old McKay popped in on John, I knew we were in for some fun.
Why I loved it.

• Featured my favorite 2 characters. McKay and Sheppard
• 48,000 years in the future. AWESOME!
• McKay falling in love. Good for him.
• Carter going Kamikaze. Would liked to have seen her live but Cool.
• Great space battles.
• Ronan the General.

Things I didn't like.

• Michael becoming so powerful, just don't believe it. Hopefully they will explain it more.

That's it... I really loved the finale. And yeah they all died. But it's not like they wont be back next season. Like Sheppard would say, "Just another day in space."

Stargate Atlantis has had it's ups and downs but it remains my favorite TV show out there. I suggest anyone who has not seen it rent it, buy it, or catch it in reruns... It's amazing.

Stargate: The Ark of The Truth

Well I would just like to say that I am excited about the release of this movie. It is due to release on March, 11 2008, so I guess like four days. Sadly for me I pre-ordered it so it probably will not arrive till later in the week. Either way I'm happy to get to see it.
I have heard a few negative comments about this movie and I hope they are not true. People are claiming it felt like two episodes smashed into a 90 minute low budget movie. I can only surmise that these people's expectations were to high. The movie was only allowed 7 million dollars, which is twice as much as they would spend on a regular episode. It is also releasing straight to DVD. With both of those facts in mind, I don't expect to see Star Wars or Star Trek however I do believe it will be more than satisfying.
Stargate: The Ark of The Truth will pick up where the 10Th season left off and properly end the series. To follow will be a Sequel called Stargate: Continuum which will release some time in June. This will not deal with the TV show at all other than the same actors will be in it. It will be set in a parallel universe in the 50's dealing heavily with time travel. So if TAOTT doesn't attract a new audience hopefully Continuum will.
Between the two a movie chain will hopefully launch and all the complainers will get there big budget film. Not to say that I don't want one. I just know that complaining about theses movies will not assist in the production of more movies.
