First off I would like to let you all know that this is my first blog. I will be honest my topics will be really broad from day to day. However I will promise to expose you to the universe through my eyes... or what I like to call the parkerverse...

So the people who park next to me moved in. There truck is a 4x4 ford quad cab. So I was feeling Kinda snug until something amazing happened. They parked their Motor Cycle next to my car, there car in an unreserved spot and there truck in an unreserved spot. If your reading this up there in apartment 102 Thanks from the Mustang! Just figured I would update you guys.
I found a video on youtube and honestly I had never heard of non-Newtonian fluids. I am sure that I one of the few people who never experienced making it in a high school chemistry class. We made ice cream, drop eggs from roofs, and even blew up a miniature of the Hindenburg, but never made this fun liquid. I actually find it really interesting, the fact that with enough of it you can walk and jump on it, but if you stopped moving you sink. So I decided to find out how to make it, but first I wanted to really understand what it is. A non-Newtonian Fluid is a fluid in which the viscosity changes with the applied strain rate. As a result, non-Newtonian fluids may not have a well-defined viscosity. So if you suddenly poked this fluid it would react more like a solid. On the other hand if you slowly slid your finger through, it will react as a liquid. However if you were to jerk it out it would begin acting like a solid again. See it's really cool. This is what you need to make it.
Corn Starch (About as much water as you are using)
Water
Some type of Container, I suggest a bath tub for the most fun. Just remember cleaning it up may not be easy.
Stirring rod (or anything to stir with)
How to make it? Simply poor some water in to the corn starch and stir it. You want about equal amounts of both. Finally, I know long process huh, stir it. Your done. When you make some be sure and post about your experience with this. I especially would like to see someone fill their tub with it. So let me know.
I have been pretty busy today setting up a new blog entitled parkerverse-youtube. I have decided to slowly and I repeat slowly, break my blog up into several. Therefore, creating several niche blogs. At leastthat's my hope at this point. To get started I posted some post's from here but I will not duplicate content from here on out. I would also like to add that The parkerverse will still be filled with really broad posts daily. The only difference is that I will be posting on my niche blogs at the same time. Anyway check out my new blog... Answer the polls please... and Have a great night. Heres the link: http://parkerverse-youtube.blogspot.com
I have never edited HTML so easily. Maybe it's just that I'm getting better but I think its this guys way he explained it. It was really simple to me. Worked first time. I would like to offer a Thanks and Great Job on the label cloud to phydeaux3. Code for New Blogger Tag Cloud / Label Cloud Blogger Javascript « phydeaux3
So I used to deliver pizzas for Domino's. It was a great job. I made anywhere from $2000 to $2500 a month. Yeah... A lot. While I was working there a new recruitment video came out. I had never had a job that had a recruitment video. So I watched it. The whole time I was cracking up. After I saw it was over I realized we do go out rain or shine, Hot or cold. I actually had pride in my job for awhile. I thought "I AM A DOMINO'S PIZZA DELIVERY DRIVER". Then I got in a wreck. Rear ended someone driving down the interstate while working. Yeah it sucked.
Anyway I was driving by the local Domino's today and it reminded me of the video. I decided to look for it. I found it. So enjoy.
So Brett Farve... Retired all-star Quarter Back for the Green Bay Packers. I was out today, I happen to live in Hattiesburg, MS, and I decided to take some pictures of Brett Farve's Home. Before I did, I decided to get a pic of Eagle walk (seen above), under the USM stadium, where his number is proudly displayed. I just thought that some fans out there would want to see this stuff. I am a fan and I thought it might be cool.
Above is a picture of Farve's Gate to his home in Hattiesburg, Ms. The gate stretches nearly a mile down Hwy 98 East only to continue with a tall chain link fence. His actual home is not visible from the road, but maybe one day I will have enough nerve to walk up to the speaker and ask to come in(lol). If you look close, an F is on the center of the gate. Proving that this is Brett Farve's Home(lol). No really it is. Below I zoomed in to show you. Here's a couple Aerial Photo's for the serious Farve Maniacs... I hope you guys liked this. Have any of you been inside the gates? If so let me know.
OK so I realized today that I am developing an addiction to feedburner. I check it everyday. I'm sure this is very common among new bloggers but I need a break from it. So I will not check feedburner for 1 week starting now, Tuesday, March 25. It would be nice if I had a lot more subscribers by then, maybe I will. Anyway I will continue to post here. The only difference is that I will have no tools to gauge what kind of response I am getting other than comments. So please comment if you like an article. If you have read my stuff before then you may have noticed I am trying to write series rather than individual posts. If the response is good I will continue if not I drop it. I haven't dropped anything as of yet. Just because this blog is so new. So please let me know if your liking my posts.
So since I moved in here I have noticed that no one has been parking in the 2 spots to my left. Well turns out that no one lived there. Now I liked this because that meant single people may still move in. Well the apartments have been leased. Guess who moved in. An old guy, and a middle age couple. ARRRRG. Now guess what they are driving. The old guy drives a Ford Expedition, and the couple drive a Quad Cab Pickup. I haven't noticed the make of the truck. A little back story. To the right of my space are bushes and steps. Which means I have to let people out before I park. Also the spaces in this complex seem surprisingly small. So what does this mean. Bushes to my right, Large Truck/SUV to my left. Where do I fit in. Well I drive Mustang and I really don't. The doors open really wide. Most likely I will have to let myself out before parking but since that isn't possible I will probably be forced to park in an unassigned place. Sigh. Unless the married couple have a second smaller vehicle, like a Prius, and park that in there assigned spot. Man that would be AMAZING Well I can only hope. Anyway they haven't moved in yet but I will update the situation as soon as I know something.
So I checked Feedreader today. I was amazed. It went up to 5 subscribers yesterday from 2. I want to let all of the subscribers know that I will highlight something personal in a post if you want. For example, blog, photos, youtube channel, web site, etc. Also, please comment on what I'm writing so I know what interests you most and so I will keep those posts coming. Finally I am considering putting a chat box widget on here if you would like to see one let me know via comments. Thanks Again.
Last night "Uncle Buck", starring John Candy was on. So I decided to watch it. I had not seen this movie in years and you know what. It was great. Hilarious doesn't describe this movie. It was jaw dropping fun.
Today's comedies are too vulgar for me most times and they seem to have very weak plots. That's why I like to watch older comedies. The plots were great, believable, and the cast were acting not poorly delivering dirty jokes.
For those of you who haven't seen it. Here's the Plot. Buck(John Candy) has to get his act together enough to take care of his brothers 3 kids while he is away helping his wife care for her father. Buck's problems come in while caring for the oldest Tia, a rebellious teenager, washing clothes, dealing with his girlfriend and his single neighbor Marcy. John Candy was at his best in this film. And I seriously suggest seeing "Uncle Buck". RENT IT!BUY IT!LOVE IT!
So I am beginning to notice that my complex at least the building I stay in is filled will couples. What's that about? I am surrounded by couples on all sides. Its ridiculous. I was hoping for some single women in these apartments but NOOOOO... There are only couples. Anyway... Just saying.
So I found this video about 2 months ago, and I love it. Absolutely love it. You may have already seen it but if you haven't then you must. It's a ninja discussing the matrix kungfu speed, and how it compares to ninja speed. He also discusses what he thought about the movie. This short was produced the youtube channel dogtoons. I suggest subscribing. everything I have seen I have liked. So without further delays here's the vid. Now isn't that so stupid its funny! Anway I hope you liked it.
First I would like to apologize for not posting this Friday. I was at my parents, and could not find the time.
Tonight I am going to give you a step by step process to get a great deal on a specifically a NEW car. With that said some of this will be repeated from previous posts. But since I don't have a huge following yet it will probably be more beneficial this way.
The STEPS to get a great deal on a NEW car.
Internet research. You need to research cars that you are interested in. Go to manufacturers websites(http://www.ford.com/ or http://www.dodge.com/, etc.) to do so. Find 1 you are interested in. While there make notes of pricing and features. Be aware that dealerships do not always carry the exact car you look at so pricing may be off a little. Also dealers can trade cars with other dealers to get the exact one you want, however if this is done dealers lose markup and will not give you as much of a deal. Now, you know the car you want, the features you want and the pricing on the specific vehicle. Also make sure and note what kind of rebates are available and Bonus Cash. Your thinking the dealer has that info. Well they do but they do not have to disclose Bonus cash to you. Most dealers do but some will no mention it and keep it for profit. Now what?
Call the a local dealership and ask to speak to the New Car Sales Manager. If he is not available either tell them you will call back or ask him to call you. This is an important step. Once you get him on the phone tell him that you are interested in setting up an appointment to test drive a vehicle. He will most likely hand you to a salesman to set up a time(only set up a time when you are 100% ready to buy and tell the Sales manager that too) but the point of this is to let him know you are ready to buy. This makes him aware of you, pay special attention to you and he will think you have already been sold on the product. So when you come in, negotiate price and act tough with the salesman. He will assume they did something wrong. And try fixing it with bigger discounts. Now if you drive the car and don't like it, leave. Do not look at other stuff. No research means no control (you lose power when you let a salesman sale you something. If you want you can research several vehicles before you go to the dealership in the event you dislike the ride or something else. Just make it clear you are there to see a fewvehicles. Now what?
So you just drove the car and you love it. You want to buy it. Tell the salesman you want to see what kind of price they can do. They will sit you down and fill out some paperwork. They will ask to run your credit, allow them at this point. Again you are letting them know that you are ready to buy by doing this. When the numbers come back he will go over them with you. Most likely you will see a discount, rebates and bonus cash, depending on availability. Lets say he put a rebate on there but no discount or bonus cash. Immediately following the presentation of numbers ask, wheres the discount? He may respond by pointing out the rebate or he may say at this time he cant do any better. If its the first say the rebate comes from the manufacturer what are you going to do for me. If its the second say well I'm sorry I wasted your time (start to stand) and tell him that you will have to wait. This will scare him because remember his boss gave him you and thinks this will be an easy sale. So he will respond to both of these by saying let me check with my manager and see what we can do. He may try to negotiate price with you him self, tell him to get a discount approved and you will go from there. Now He will leave for a few come back and make another offer. At this point if its not where you want it. Ask him for the price you want. Keeping in mind base model markup is around $900 middle of the road markup is $1500, and loaded markup is 3000. These are round numbers could be more or less. He will say ok or go and check with a manager. They may or may not accept your offer. If you don't you can try and leave and see if they change their mind. But this is very hard to do. Lets say they accept your offer. Now if their was bonus cash shown online mention that to them. Ask when they show the Bonus cash in the numbers? That's how you get the price you want. Now what?
Tell them your ready to see interest rates. It will take around 30 minutes most times to do this if they are busy you could be their awhile. When they are ready either the finance manager will come to you or the you will go to him. He will be the nicest and the best salesman they have. Why, because he sales you stuff you don't need with incredible markup. Warranty- I always buy warranty. Normally they will show you a price of $2400 dollars for it with a 600 dollar discount. Problem is they only pay around $1000 for it. Mention it seems a lot higher than you remember, ask for the discount. Gap- I also always buy gap. Normally gap sales for $600 dollars. There is not a lot of markup but you should be able to get $150 off, just by asking. Most pay $300 for it. Life- I never buy it. Its just expensive really expensive insurance. Turn the offer down every time. You don't want this. A&H- Another really expensive insurance. Turn it down. You don't want this either. If that negotiating went well you will move on to the note and interest. If you got all the discounts I have spoke about they will try and bump the interest. They have to make money some how. Consider rates on your credit card, they should be higher than your car rate. However rates do go up and down through out the year. An easy way to check rates is to apply for an auto lone online. This will give you an idea of rate. If its a little higher mention that you were offered a lower rate online and tell them the lender. Some times the finance manager will not send your credit to all lenders and may not have tried it yet and most will give it a try. If its lower take it. Now what?
SIGN THE PAPERWORK and drive it home. Then?
Come back to my blog and tell me about your experience.
I Hope this helps you all. If you have any questions post them in the comments. Thanks for Reading.
So a few minutes ago posted some problems I was having uploading a new layout. Well I fixed it... Now I will not even pretend to know how it worked but it did. Also I would like to note that I did not come up with this on my own. The 2 errors!

bX-4smx9i
Happened while I was trying to both confirm and preview a new template/layout. I searched the knowledge base and found someone who said they found someone(possibly a blog) named Jesus and Yoda. Who just deleted all their widgets and the error went away. Well I tried it. After I was done I clicked save layout(after I deleted the widgets).
At this point I received a error.

This pissed me of to no end lol. So I decided to try to upload my new template to see if it works anyway. AND, IT DID.. WOOHOO Thanks to whoever posted that fix. It seemed like it was effecting a ot of people and we all appreciate it. Thanks Again.
Sorry I have not been actively blogging. Honestly I'm just tired of laying on the floor typing. Im going to my parents tonight and will return to my apartment Wed with all my stuff(computer desk and chair). I will most likely post some new stuff from there via my fathers laptop but I wont promise anthing at this point. Anyway just wanted to let you all know what was going on.
Usually I look around digg, yahoo answers, youtube, and yahoo buzz. While on digg or buzz I try not to look at stories that are extremely popular because if everyone is writing about them there will be very little I can add and no one wants to hear the same story 1000 times. I try to stick to videos while on there so that I have a visual reference for the readers. While on yahoo answers I may be inspired by an individuals question, but most times I just see whats hot. Browsing youtube, is something I do for fun and not for this blog but I always find something worth talking about so I write about it. The key to writing a new post is interest, your interest. If your not interested in the topic then you will get blocked, frustrated and rush it. This guy CHRIS BROGRAN, posted a topic listing 100 ideas for topics. I would rather not to use the list but I have found a few that interest me. So expect to see some soon. So thats how I find my topics. Hope it helps you all. If you have some suggestions let me know. Im always ready open to new ideas.
So I seem to have a new subscriber again. Thanks for subscribing. I was wondering last night if any of you would prefer me to post my full post in the feed or just an excerpt. Let me know so I can better provide for you. To the new subscriber, submit what you want me to talk about or promote for you or your friend.
So I think I've discovered one of the reasons why my neighbor above me is so noisy. It seems that there is a girl, who if not lives with him spends a lot of time with him up there. Still though. Whats going on? Do they take turns running around the apartment? Or what? Who knows. At least I know I can sleep through it. However the last 2 days I have woken up at 7:30 exactly with no use of an alarm clock. Not that I'm complaining but I'm one of those people that doesn't wake up with out a clock. It's not like I went to bed early. So whats going on with that. I will further investigate and let you all know.
So I thought that I had (1)some pretty quiet neighbors (2)a really well insulated apartment. Well I was wrong on both accounts. Turns out the guy who lives above me was out of town. Now that he is back he is always and I mean constantly moving around. I don't understand how he can move that much. What I really don't get is why he has to move so much. I mean seriously! What is he doing up there? The whole situation makes me feel like a weirdo, because I am in my apartment on my computer or watching some tv. I mean I work out and I do move around, but the apartment is like 600 square feet. Where the hell is he going? I keep thinking back to when I was younger my sisters friends would be upstairs making all kinds of noise and I would yell up "be quiet!". I find myself almost doing that hear. Anyway I just wanted to vent.
I have decided to make my car buying tips a weekly or possibly bi-weekly post. The reason is I am not getting any kind of response. When I write on this topic I seem to go on and on. Its also a bit tiring to write about this subject. I never liked selling cars, and really don't like talking about the process to buy them. When Start getting input my posts will become more regular. I will still answer any questions posted in comments. Let me know if you need more involved help. I will post this topic on Friday's and maybe once more during the week. I have not decided yet.
